DEWEY ORIENTE has crossed over the footlights at Candlelight once more. He has appeared in several productions here at the Barn: Annie; Bye, Bye Birdie;Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Shine Up and had the opportunity to perform his most favorite role to date, Roger DeBris in The Producers for which he won a Barny in 2014. He also directed Grease and Charlotte’s Web. Dewey is kept busy at Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr, where he has taught drama and public speaking and has been the head of the drama program for the last 29 years. He has performed professionally at both Riverfront and City Line Dinner Theatres, Three Little Bakers and in Atlantic City at The Claridge and The Tropicana. He wishes to send out hugs and smooches to his husband Tony and the “furry kids,” Munro, Coconut, and Miss Sugar.
