Tap Choreographer

SCOTT JACOBS received his degree in Musical Theatre Performance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He trained with June Taylor dancer, Jacque Jaeger, and with Tony Award-winning choreographer, Henry LeTang. Scott wrote, produced, choreographed, and performed in “ON TAP,” where he traveled the world performing as a headline act on luxury cruise ships and toured with Charo, The Drifters, and Barry Williams (Greg Brady from “The Brady Bunch.”). He also performed as Donald O’Connor in the Las Vegas production of That’s Entertainment Live! starring Debbie Reynolds and Rip Taylor and was in the U.S. and Canadian tour of Singin’ in the Rain, where he played the role Cosmo. Scott danced on Celebrity Cruise Lines in the tap duo, “Hot Foot”, danced with tap dance legends Fayard Nicholas, Buster Brown, and Peggy Ryan, and with Tap Dogs in New York City. He taught master tap classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and was a guest choreographer at West Chester University. His choreography was also featured in the national tour of Maurice Hines – Tappin’ Thru Life. Scott owns and teaches tap at Delaware Arts Conservatory and has his own Disney podcast, The Mouse and Me!
