HOW CAN I SOCIAL DISTANCE?
Your arrival time is assigned: we are staggering arrivals by one half-hour to ensure social distancing in our lobby and during meal service. Look for an email from us 2—3 days before your ticket date, in which we will confirm your arrival time.
HOW DO I COMPLY WITH COVID-19 POLICIES?
Please arrive at your assigned time and be prepared to show a vaccination record or a recent negative COVID-19 test result. As per CDC guidelines masks are encouraged and recommended, they are not required at this time. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well or have a fever, and call the Box Office to let us know. We look forward to entertaining you when you are well.
WHAT OTHER SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
Servers and staff are subject to vaccination and testing requirements and will wear masks.
The theatre has been treated from top to bottom with a long-term antimicrobial treatment which eliminates 99.99% of germs, bacteria and viruses including COVID-19. This powerful treatment protects treated surfaces between monthly cleanings. There will be enhanced cleanings between performances. Additionally, we are using Aerus ActivePure Purifiers. Our entire ventilation system now employs advanced air purification, using HEPA, ionizers and ultraviolet technology to renew the air 24/7. In fact, the combined system is so effective, that the theatre’s air is completely renewed every 30 minutes.
WHY DOES CANDLELIGHT HAVE THESE POLICIES IN PLACE?
Safety guidelines are subject to change without notice according to state law. Since reopening in April 2021, safety policies have been in place for all staff and performers. Although we understand that our safety decisions may involve some initial inconvenience for our theatergoers, we are determined to ensure that the inconvenience be as minimal as possible.
For those who have not been fully vaccinated (14 days have passed since your complete vaccination course), or for those who have chosen to forego receiving a vaccination, we require proof of a negative COVID-19. Acceptable tests: COVID-19 PCR test (within 72 hours of the attendance date) or a COVID-19 antigen test (within 6 hours of arrival), or a photo of a home test taken within 6 hours of arrival. You have the option of showing proof of vaccination, along with a valid I.D., in a number of ways:
Electronic copy – scan your vaccination card and email to the theatre
Photocopy – make a copy of your vaccination card and mail to the theatre or bring with you
Photo – take a photo of your vaccination card and present upon arrival
Our goal, as always, is to provide our audience with the safest environment possible.
We want to make your evening with us the healthiest it can be. With each of us doing our part for the health of all of us we will reach that light at the end of the tunnel.
